Level 1 — Entry

Who this is for

The simplest way to use Processor. Everything happens inside the Miro panel — you never leave Miro.

What you can do at this level

  • Upload a transcript and find the processes in it.
  • Draw a first-draft diagram for one process at a time onto your board.

Before you start: your access code, a transcript, and a Miro board with the Processor panel. (See Getting started for the basics.)

Quickstart

  1. Open the Processor panel in Miro and enter your access code (first time only).
  2. Paste or upload your interview transcript.
  3. Choose a target number of processes from the dropdown.
  4. Click Analyze. Processor reads the transcript and lists the processes it found.
  5. Under "2 - Select a process to draw", pick one process.
  6. Click "Draw selected (this will likely take a few minutes)".
  7. Processor works out the detail, builds the diagram, and draws it on your board.

Step-by-step

1. Analyze the transcript

Paste or upload the transcript, pick the target process count from the dropdown, and click Analyze. When it finishes, a green box shows "Found x process(es)." and the processes appear as a list.

2. Pick one process

The list lets you select one process at a time (a radio button — there's no "select all"). This keeps each diagram clean and avoids long waits.

3. Draw it

Click "Draw selected (this will likely take a few minutes)". At Level 1, Processor does the detailed analysis and builds the diagram at this moment, so the first draw of a process takes a little time. When it's done, the diagram appears on your current Miro board.

4. Draw another (or redraw)

Pick a different process and draw it the same way. Re-drawing a process you've already drawn reuses its diagram and costs nothing extra.

Tidy the diagram

The layout is generated automatically, so it's a sensible first pass you may want to nudge by hand in Miro — move a box, straighten a connector. That's expected: the diagram is a straw-man to refine, not a finished artefact.

Before you re-analyze or upload a new transcript

Re-running the analysis or uploading a new transcript clears the processes Processor generated (your transcript is kept). Processor warns you first and offers Download backup (zip) — take it if you might want that work later.

What's not at this level

The full website, choosing the AI model, file downloads/exports, and uploading your own .bpmn file are not part of Level 1. Those come with higher levels.

What Level 2 adds

Level 2 adds the website, where you can elaborate processes, read the detailed output, and download it as Markdown — see Level 2 — Standard.

Troubleshooting

  • The draw takes a few minutes. Normal at Level 1 — the detail and the diagram are generated when you press draw.
  • The diagram looks rough. It's a first draft; nudge it in Miro. See the FAQ.
